If a site quotes you a single "acceptance rate %" for TUM or RWTH, treat it as an estimate, not an official figure.

It does not replace anything you have already budgeted for in this guide, but for students in specific fields it adds a fee, a deadline, and a planning step you need to account for, including if you're targeting the Winter 2027-28 intake, since the rule applies from Summer 2027 onward, not just to the first cycle.
