Cut Your MBA Costs: Scholarships at University of Bath Explained

If you are planning to pursue an MBA from one of the top universities in the UK and are concerned about the financial aspect, we have some good news. Top schools, such as the University of Bath's School of Management, offer more than just world-class teaching and industry connections. It provides scholarships to help reduce your tuition burden.
How does this work exactly? These scholarships apply to both the Full-Time MBA and the Executive MBA programs. They’re awarded as tuition fee waivers, meaning a portion of your £37,500 fee is deducted. Please note that the scholarship cannot be cashed out or transferred. It is designed to alleviate your financial burden.

What Makes Bath’s MBA Scholarships Stand Out?
The University of Bath is ranked among the top 150 universities in the QS World University Rankings. Pursuing your MBA here can accelerate your career without a significant financial burden.
Whether you're aiming for a fast-track one-year Full-Time MBA or balancing your studies with work through the Executive MBA, the scholarship process is the same and starts with your interview.
“Am I Eligible?”
Yes—if you’re invited to interview for the 2025/26 MBA intake. Only applicants who reach this stage will be considered.
Once you’re shortlisted, the MBA Admissions Team will send you everything you need:
- Scholarship criteria
- Deadlines
- How to apply
“Cool, and if I get the scholarship?”
Here’s how it works:
- You’ll have 14 days to accept your offer and pay a 10% deposit (£3,750).
- The scholarship is applied as a discount on your tuition at registration.
- That deposit is non-refundable—unless:
- You don’t meet the academic conditions of your offer
- You’re denied a visa
- You cancel within 14 days of payment
Fine Print You Should Know
- Scholarships cannot be deferred. They’re only valid for the academic year you applied to.
- If you change programmes, pause, or withdraw, your scholarship may be cancelled and prorated.
- Switching to a non-eligible course, repeating the year, or deferring = no scholarship.
- In the event of a change in visa status, please notify the MBA team immediately. Detainment or ineligibility could result in the suspension of your award.
Selection & Outcome
Scholarship decisions are made by a panel of senior MBA staff. They’ll review your materials, evaluate your fit with the programme’s values, and determine the final list of recipients.
It’s competitive; meeting the eligibility criteria doesn’t guarantee an award. All decisions are final, and there is no appeals process.
Any Room for Complaints?
Only if something goes procedurally wrong, if you believe your application wasn’t appropriately considered due to a process error, you can file a formal complaint in writing to the MBA Admissions Team.
Quick Heads-Up on Publicity
If you win a scholarship, you might be featured in the University’s promotional material. If the award is funded by an external partner or company, your basic info may be shared with them for administration purposes.
TL;DR — Who Should Apply?
These scholarships are for you if:
- You’re applying for the 2025/26 Full-Time or Executive MBA
- You get invited to the interview round
- You’re ready to accept and pay the deposit within 14 days
- You want a world-class business education with reduced tuition
