1. MAECI Scholarships (Government of Italy Scholarships)
These scholarships are available for Postgraduate (PG) students only and not only awards 900 Euros as a stipend per month for 6 to 9 months of living but the winners will also be exempted from paying tuition fee which makes this scholarship worth 100%. 2. Bocconi University Scholarships (UG & PG Students)
Bocconi University offers two types of merit-based scholarships:
- Bocconi International Awards Undergraduate – Offers a 50% tuition fee waiver.
- Bocconi Graduate Merit Awards – Offers a 100% tuition fee waiver.

3. Merit-Based Scholarships at Politecnico Di Milano
This scholarship is available for Master’s students only, with three different funding schemes:
- Platinum Scholarship – Full tuition fee waiver + 10,000 Euros stipend per year.
- Gold Scholarship – Full tuition fee waiver + 5,000 Euros stipend per year.
- Silver Scholarship – Full tuition fee waiver only.
Excellent academics and a motivation letter are required for this scholarship and you can apply for it along with your application to the university.
4. Padua International Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship is available for both Bachelor's and Master's students and awards a full tuition fee waiver plus 8000 Euros grant per year to international students. You do not have to apply for this scholarship separately and selection is based on academic excellence.
The University of Padua also offers many other scholarships such as 100% Fee Waivers to 100 International Students, Departmental Scholarships, and Galilean School of Higher Education Scholarships.
5. Regione Veneto Scholarships
This scholarship is also applicable to Bachelor's and Master's students but it is available for students from low-income backgrounds. There are a number of benefits that will vary as per a student’s financial needs but will consist of tuition fee waivers, living stipends, and even free or discounted student services such as accommodation and meals at university canteens.
