  • Situated in New South Wales, Australia, the University of Wollongong is a public research university established in 1975. With four faculties divided into several schools offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs, the university has a student enrollment of 35,969 and an academic staff of 1,094 members. Students can opt for courses from 18 subject areas such as Information Technology, Health Analytics, Exercise Science, French and International Studies. 
  • The University of Wollongong has campuses in Wollongong (main campus) and Sydney and several regional campuses across the state. There are eight libraries on the metropolitan and regional campuses where students find books, journals, articles, collections and online publications. The university offers pathways programs like UOW College and the Indigenous Admissions Program to help students prepare for university life. UOW provides several short courses in economics, data analytics, engineering etc., through SMART, students interact with professors and earn credit points.

Off-campus residential options include private rentals, shared accommodation and short-stay facilities. 
  • There are numerous cultural, artistic, political, volunteer and academic clubs to join and different sports to play like badminton, volleyball and netball. Reports show that UOW postgraduates have been known to earn a median starting salary of AUD 90,000.
