Centennial has a career services section to build your self-esteem and prepare you for the corporate world. They keep you interested in today's business standards and prepare you to fulfil your ambition. The college is invested in your success and thereby wants to help you every step of the way. Centennial believes that firsthand working in the field is the only way to learn well. The college offers more than 50 co-op programmes in business, engineering technology and applied sciences, and transportation to enable this. Students who enrol in programmes with a co-op option work full-time at a real job. Through co-op programmes, the majority of students have the opportunity to work while they study and acquire experience.
The college also has a dedicated page for resources like sample resumes, cover letters, career tools, networking hubs and more. The institution not only looks out for its current students but also cares for its alumni and is eager to assist them in finding employment even after graduation.
According to the provincial Key Performance Indicator (KPI), over 94 per cent of businesses that hire Centennial graduates are satisfied or extremely satisfied with their selections. In 2016 and 2017, Centennial College received the highest ratings from students and employers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The college works closely with businesses to understand the market demands.
